About St Stephen’s hall

 

There are two halls available for hire to members of the community for classes, meetings, arts and crafts, as well as weddings, Baptisms, funerals etc, and family time, including birthday parties.

 

The small hall is 30ft long x 20ft wide, is suitable for small groups, can seat up to 40 people with tables and chairs. There is no entrance to the kitchen from this hall.

 

The large hall is 52ft long x 28ft wide, plus has a

ceiling height of 18ft. The hall has a hard wooden floor

and is suitable for most activities and groups, including

parties with bouncy castles.

The large hall can accommodate up to 200 people

standing and 160 seated at tables. There is access to

the kitchen and main front entrance doors.

 

Unfortunately disabled access is limited,  there are

metal wheelchair ramps for the side entrance door.

However currently we have no disabled toilet facilities.

 

Both halls are fully heated from 1st October – 30th April. Unlike some places, there are no hidden extra charges for this.

 

 

Health & Safety

The premises are fully insured and risk assessed. For adult events; alcohol must not be sold on the premises, as we do not have a liquor licence. No smoking is allowed in the halls.

We do accept bouncy castles for parties; however you must take out the insurance with the hire company- we do not accept any uninsured inflatables or play equipment

 

 

The Kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettles, toaster, food warmers, water boiler urn, pots and pans, etc. There is enough cutlery and crockery for up to 60 people, and approx 100 wine glasses.

We ask that hirers take away all their re-cycling and rubbish (black bags are provided) as we do not have a commercial bin.

 

 

 

 Hall Hire Prices

 

Small hall = £12 per hour  (with no access to kitchen)

Large hall = £18 per hour   (Including kitchen)

 

There is a £50 deposit (Refundable) for all events.

We ask that you leave the hall in a clean & tidy condition, no rubbish left, and the floors swept. (all cleaning materials are provided for you) Failure to do this may result in non-return of your deposit to cover our extra cleaning costs.
